Ottawa Home Staging That Sells

Every home has a story — we help it tell the right one

Before your listing hits the market, we roll up our sleeves and get to work transforming your space to highlight its best features. Whether it’s rearranging furniture, adding the right accessories, or bringing in key pieces from our inventory, we handle the staging ourselves to make sure your home feels fresh, welcoming, and market-ready.

Stage My Home to sell!

Why Staging Your House Matters

You only get about 9 seconds to grab a buyer’s attention online — and when they’re scrolling through dozens of listings, that first impression really counts.

That’s why staging isn’t just a “nice-to-have.” It’s one of the simplest ways to make your home stand out. Staged homes photograph better, show better, and often sell faster and for more. In fact, they typically sell for 1–5% more. This can be a significant amount of money back in your pocket. And we’re not just quoting stats — we see this happen every day for our sellers. Homes that show well are easier to market, spend less time on the market, and tend to attract stronger offers. It really does make a difference.

When we stage, we focus on:

Creating warm, functional spaces that feel easy to fall in love with

Making every room feel bright, spacious, and lived-in (in the best way)

Highlighting what makes your home special — those finishes, upgrades, and hidden gems

Helping buyers imagine themselves living there — from the first photo to the final walkthrough

The goal? To make buyers stop scrolling and think, “This is the one.”

What You Can Expect

We take a hands-on, thoughtful approach to staging every listing

1

Home Audit

We start with a walkthrough of your home to make two lists: one for what we’ll bring in and one for what to tidy, pack away, or touch up. This sets the stage for a polished, cohesive look.

2

Prep & Styling

We schedule time to come in and do our thing — from rearranging furniture to styling surfaces and softening up the space with textiles and greenery. Every detail counts.

3

Photography-Ready

We make sure your home looks its absolute best before the photographer arrives, down to the last throw pillow.

No extra vendors. No added staging fees. Just a clear plan, thoughtful design, and hands-on support from day one. Staging is included in every full-service listing because we believe presentation is everything — and we want your home to stand out.

They brought in their own furniture and decorations for home staging. They knew exactly how to highlight the best features of our home and made it look absolutely stunning. Their keen eye for detail and understanding of the market meant that we had two visits, two offers and it sold in 48 hours for above what we were expecting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge extra for staging?

We include staging with every full-service listing, using pieces from our own inventory — things like throw pillows, bedding, artwork, lamps, and smaller furniture items that help elevate your space. If your home would benefit from larger pieces (like a dining table, bed frames, or dresser), we sometimes bring in a local staging company to help. That would be an additional cost, but we do our best to offset it or find a solution that works within your budget.

Will I need to buy or rent new furniture?

Most of the time, we work with what you already have — we may just reconfigure things a bit to improve flow and function. We also bring in small touches from our own inventory (like pillows, lamps, artwork, and accessories) to soften and polish the space. Think of it as layering, not replacing.

What if I’m still living in the house?

Totally fine! Most of our clients are. We’re mindful of how you live in your space and will work with you to make the staging feel manageable — not museum-like. We’ll give you a list of easy-to-maintain tips so things stay looking great without taking over your life.

How long does the staging process take?

It all starts with our home audit — that usually takes about an hour. From there, we’ll give you a list of prep tasks (if needed), and once that’s done, we schedule about a day and a half for us to come in and stage.

Can I stage my home myself?

You can — but why not take it off your plate? We've staged dozens of homes and know exactly what buyers respond to. Our goal is to make the process easy, not add more to your to-do list. You focus on the move — we’ll handle the styling.
